Met this beautiful girl for sushi on Monday, she always puts me in the best mood.
Then I had the pleasure of hosting two Canadians at my house. Claire, her little sis and dog (if you can call it that) stopped in for the night on their way to Washington. We love having guests and I wished she could have stayed much longer than one night.

On Wednesday I took a sick day from work. I haven’t stayed home sick in a couple of years and these guys knew how to keep me company. Might have to get sick more often.
Story time at work. A couple of our co-workers just got back from Everest Base Camp. Insane.
Movie night at the Darr’s. I love when small children, or anyone- really anyone, plays with my hair. I’m wondering if I can hire that out as a job for someone? Come play with my hair every night before I go to sleep?
Dinner with (almost) all of Dougie’s family. So fun and carrying on the Plum Loco tradition. I might bet the Websters play a big role in keeping that establishment in business.
For all who made fun of our dying plants and my black thumb- look who’s laughing now. I have actual plumerias growing in my basement. They make me so happy every time I look at them. When I lived in Hawaii we had a huge plumeria tree right out our front door and I would pick one to put in my hair every morning when I walked to class. I think they are some of the most beautiful flowers. Every plumeria is absolutely perfect. I love them! Hoping I can keep them alive all winter because they remind me of summer.
