Bangarang

We are still keeping up with our picture-a-day goal. Nine months down, three to go. In case it was unclear, the captions of pictures that are just dates mean that is the picture of the day, others are just bonus pictures.

Love autumn. The colors, the smells, the pumpkin-flavored everything, the crisp air. It’s so refreshing. This guy looks a little thirsty but check out those vibrant colors. We planted him a few months ago in the heat of summer and are so happy he pulled through.

I love this lady. Not only is she a wizard with hair but a delightful person to boot. Liz cut me some bangs and now Doug calls out “bangarang!” every time he sees me. If I would’ve known that was a side-effect…I would’ve cut them long ago.

Tried a new restaurant for dinner, it was a win and a little different than most restaurants in our area that made for a nice change of pace.

We were both pretty impressed by this little wisdom-nugget that came via my fortune cookie. Someone at the cookie-plant stepped it up a notch. On a related note, I’m sure this is common knowledge, but they don’t have fortune cookies in China. It’s a weird American thing. The question is, who writes them? The Chinese or Americans feigning a Chinese accent/grammar?  Also, I’m sure they’re still manufactured in China but for American-Chinese restaurants but not Chinese-Chinese restaurants. It’s a crazy world we live in.

Cutest Sunday dinner ever. Janet has a knack for decor and believe it or not the food was even better than the settings.
