Doug (and I) spent our day off recovering. In case it isn’t clear, that blanket says “Cuddle Me” all over it.
Felix is always hindering us from getting in real work done.
Well, either this day was inconsequential or something significant did happen and we didn’t document it. Either way we ended up with the default cat-on-the-bed picture. Can’t say this is the first time that has happened.
Following tradition, we went to the Blackfoot Fair with Britt and Casey. I must say that there was a sizable drop in the amount of mullets there compared to usual, which was unfortunate for everyone. There was, however, just as much junk food as always; that is both a good and a bad thing. Our favorite part is walking around and seeing the animals. I think both mine and Brittney’s voices went up an octave for the duration of being in the animal section. I don’t even know how many fuzzy little heads I got to pet, my guess would be a lot.
We watched “Babe” on our Oregon Coast trip and so we kept quoting the sheep: “Baa-ram-ewe. Baa-ram-ewe. To your breed, your fleece, your clan be true. Sheep be true. Baa-ram-ewe.” Oddly enough, Doug’s always remembered that quote and has been known to bring it out every so often and now I can participate with confidence.
Had lunch with this beauty today. 37 weeks along, can you believe it? I don’t know what I would do without my Canadian sweetheart.
Extra cuddly Saturday night.
I know a picture similar to this was posted a long while back but I don’t think it was the picture of the day so here we go again. An alert cat in “sneak attack mode” is so entertaining. I think Squeaker knew he was there and just didn’t care.
