We went three posts with no cat pictures, so gear up for a post flush with cats. That’s just what happens.

Our temporary (white trash) solution to keeping to keeping cat fur off the new dining chairs.

I have got to remember not to leave presents on the ground…the cats always open them and then rip apart the paper. Christmas is a nightmare.

Lunch-time has turned into a regular party on top of Doug.

Saturday we spent the day in Jackson with Rob, Janet, Diana, Brayden and Madi. We rode the tram up the mountain in the morning and got delicious waffles at the top. We hiked around for a bit, watched the paragliders and hanggliders take off (from the edge of the mountain, mind you) and enjoyed the absolutely stunning view.

When Doug was taking these pictures he heard the tandem-instructor telling the girl “Ready, run! Run!” and you can barely see in one of the photos but they’d taken flight and she just kept running in the air. When your life is literally hanging by a thread you will be obedient.

Then we went and did the Alpine Slide- my first time. I seriously loved it, this must become a tradition.

My herb garden: Basil, Mint, Oregano, Rosemary and Thyme.  (Next year I guess I need to plant parsley and sage to better keep in line with Simon and Garfunkel’s Scarborough Fair song.)
