New dining chairs that Felix is christening with his blasted fur. We’ve clearly got to come up with some new “no cat zone” tactics.
The cats were looking out the screen door so Doug sat down with them while the bird was on his head. Felix I guess needed a better view (?) so he jumped on Doug’s shoulders. This made Squeaker really mad because Doug’s upper-body is his territory so he flew off to the kitchen table…only to fly back and land right on the cat. We did not know what to do, so naturally we did nothing while I got out my phone to snap pictures. Felix was just a little confused and you can see Squeaker’s mouth open to tell him he’s mad. It was the funniest thing ever, we need to reinforce and nurture this behavior so we can turn our zoo into more of a circus atmosphere. Maybe make some money off it, let the pets earn their keep. The picture is horrible quality but that’s what you get when nature is defied but only for a moment.
We got a semi-surprise visit from my Texan cousins again, love when they’re in town!
We played it low-key for our date night and got take out to eat while watching an epic movie. Probably our favorite kind of date. Forgot to take a picture until after 9PM so…cat.
Again after 9PM…tried to steer clear of the cats for the picture of the day and that’s the significance (or lack of) of this picture of the day.
