We still haven’t missed a day of “the daily picture” goal, we’re pretty proud of ourselves. Now for this week’s line up.
We’ll start the week off right with a picture of the boys.
We’ve been waiting for our electrician to come back and finish a few things so that we can have the texture/mudding guys come to do the walls. One of the things we needed is this light fixture installed in place of the really ugly fan in the dining room. Doug took it upon himself and wired/installed it (all I did was dust the thing), nice work!
We love having visitors (even when our house is in remodeling mode and there is exposed drywall and dust everywhere). Doug’s childhood buddy Jacob dropped by for a visit before he moves on to bigger and better things in D.C. Glad he remembered to come by after four months of being in town… *cough cough*. All kidding aside it was great to see him and we wish him the best on his next venture.
Bethany was in town for a day so we met up for lunch and had 60 minutes to catch up on all the details of each others lives over Thai food.
We took the day off work and headed to Boise for a family visit for the weekend. More on that later. This was a very enjoyable walk to the park on secret paths with my darling nieces.
Doug put on his adventurous hat and ordered escargot at a lovely dinner on Saturday night.
