As I mentioned before, we had a family reunion a couple of weeks ago at Island Park with the Becks (Doug’s Mom’s side of the family). Turns out they are a pretty wild bunch which made for a fun reunion.
Doug’s whole family stayed at a cabin they rented which had a great location close to the water. Janet rocked it with some awesome food (as usual) so no one went away hungry. It was so fun having the whole family together for a couple of days.
We all went to the Playmill and saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Hopefully I’ll be able to sing along a little better next time the soundtrack is playing during Sunday dinner.
Doug and I entered in a horseshoe tournament. It was my first time playing horseshoes and it’s much harder than it looks. We won our first game but forgot to go back for the second…so who knows, we could’ve taken the whole tournament! (doubt it, we’re pretty terrible).
We had so much fun boating. Especially watching Chris knock our socks off with his sweet tricks. (Seriously Chris, we were very impressed and I think Brady is still wishing he had your thighs! Haha!)
After dinner one of the nights we had a big auction complete with professional auctioneer. Colton really needed the alligator thing you see below. He was pretty excited about it.
Thanks for such a fun weekend get away!
