I’m not sure when it started, although I think I was already out of the house. I don’t know how it started (but I feel like Aubrey was somehow involved). I don’t know why it started but I’m glad it did. All I know is for the past several years we have celebrated “Cinco De Milo”. Milo is my cat’s name, the big orange guy that still lives with my parents. We don’t really do anything in particular by way of celebration but the 5th of May is just Milo’s day. My mom bought him a hat in Mexico on her cruise a few years ago so now Cinco De Milo is incomplete until I get my email of the cat wearing the hat.
Happy Cinco De Milo everyone!
PS- Mom or Aubrey, if you can shed light on how this started that would be great. If not, that’s ok but please continue the tradition.

YAY! Happy Cinco De Milo! I think we should celebrate with some Milo Stew! I think Cinco De Milo is pretty self explanatory, but I think it was your mom who started this gem of a tradition.
Yes you are right but it was YOU who started “Milo Stew” complete with a drawn picture. I think that’s where it stems from…
I want to see house photos, please. Thank you.
Very soon!
Mayo, Milo…same thing!
Hey Aubrey, you can’t make stew out of a national holiday! He even has a greek statue named after him–‘Venus de….’
It was definitely Aubrey that started the stew
hahaha. I miss your mom!
