Seriously that’s the best I could come up with by way of a title for this week’s post. Anyone have a better idea?
The texture/mud guys (there has got to be a better name for them, I just don’t know what it is) finally came over on Monday to start on the front room. It took them until Thursday night to finish and despite all the dust that filled the house after the sanding, we are excited to get one step farther in our never ending remodel project.
Our poor black Honda has been in pretty bad shape- he’s needed a bath for a long time and was covered in dirty kitty footprints. We finally got around to washing Niles (our Escape) last week so it was definitely past due for the Honda. We had it sparkling clean then it snowed the next day and ruined all our hard work. The bath was short lived. Now it’ll be another 6 months before we wash it.
Happy Birthday Dougie! He turned the big two-nine. We had to wait clear until our lunch break for him to open his presents (I love watching people open their presents so it was torture for me to wait that long). That night he requested his family-favorite restaurant, Plum Loco, for dinner and Rob and Janet were able to join us. All he really wanted for his birthday was some mucho nachos.
He had to take some pictures of this plane that’s for sale and we thought this shot turned out pretty cool so we have a double March 20th picture of the day.
Sometimes I get yummy healthy snacks delivered to the office and it makes my day. I love getting mail and food so it’s a win/win. (Thanks Ness for the recommendation).
Friday night date night was spent at home because we could not bring ourselves to brave the stupid winter spring storm.
Sorry, two cat pictures in a row. Saturday’s weather finally started looking up and the cats are just as excited about spring as the rest of us.
This is the cutest little Easter egg I’ve ever seen. We got to watch Cinderella with Avalee too which was a treat.
