Bob and I felt the patriotic spirit a few days early.
A lot of our neighborhood lit off their fireworks on the 3rd and it scared our kittens half to death. They hid under the bed for hours. Scaredy cats.
July the 4th:
We went to the IF parade in the morning with Brittney and Casey.
Had lunch at a European bakery
Went to my parents for a BBQ and Doug and I accidentally took a 2.5 hour nap with Mister Milo.
Finished the night off with some great fireworks at Mandy and Brady’s.
We took the day off on Friday and my dad came over so we could work on rebuilding the pantry in the hallway. Still have a ways to go.
Last night was a perfect summer evening and we took advantage of that by having a BBQ in our backyard and busting out the ol’ badminton set.
Wind.

I want in on a Brittney/Casey/Aly/Doug party. I love the photo of their victory dance, I can hear Brit’s giggle in that photo. Rootbeer taste test sounds so fun. Doug in the Russian mafia outfit is hysterical. Scott is so pumped you can notary stuff, and how the heck does that work?-Who are you? The photo of your mouth dilemma is so funny, and it is even better that you luckily had a slew of cat photos. I love that I giggle out loud when I read your blog. And yes it is 7:35 am, I am a weirdo.
