January Pictures (2)

Here is this week’s wrap up with our daily pictures. We were pretty lazy this week and only got out the camera once. Which means a week of low-qual iPhone pictures. Oh well, at least we haven’t missed a day yet. But we’re already stretching our creativity here which is a shame because it’s still the first month of the year. This project might not even be worth printing come the end of the year, but if nothing else it’s entertaining.

The high this day was 0 degrees…Fahrenheit. Gross. This is Doug being cold at home.

We celebrated Rob’s birthday at The Hickory in Rexburg. Jack appreciated (made fun of) Doug’s hat, or Ushanka in Russian.

This was on our lunch break. We go home for lunch together every day (which is awesome). We copied the cats and basked in the sun for a bit before heading back to the office.

We got loads of orchids at the office. Makes me think of warmer times to come.

This is the beginning of the renovation of our living room/dining room/kitchen. While the boys tore down a wall I removed the wallpaper. We took a bunch of before pictures which I will post later. If I can offer anyone advice here it’s- just don’t put up wallpaper, ever. Someday you will have to take it down and at that point all you can do is cry. This picture was after I removed all the wallpaper and then we realized that just the top layer came off and we had to go over the whole thing again to get the glue layer off. (Still not done). So happy my parents were there to help.
