First off a little disclaimer, yes I realize that this makes the third Harry Potter post on our blog. Yes I’m slightly embarrassed about this. I just want you to know that we know this might make us look like huge weird Harry Potter freaks. I dunno, maybe we are. Well, with that being said we spent our Saturday evening celebrating the release of the final Harry Potter movie at Cam and Nessa’s place. And yes, everyone dressed up. (Told you we’d look like huge weird Harry Potter freaks by posting this.) But the costumes were too funny not to share.
And the obvious costume winner… (she has a porcelain cat attached to hair…she definitely deserved to win!)
The party was basically our Halloween party which reminds me, we carved pumpkins a few weeks back for Halloween at Mandy & Brady’s and here is what we came up with:
Thank you Cameron and Vanessa for being nerdy enough to throw a Harry Potter party complete with wand making, pumpkin pasties, butterbeer and costumes while marathon-ing parts 1&2. We had a blast.

It was fun looking at everyone’s costumes. Everyone put some effort into their characters. So what does “butterbeer” taste like – maybe a root beer float except with buttter? I think I’ll just disapparate now…Poof!
