Yellowstone National Park

A few weeks ago we had a Beck family reunion (Doug’s side of the family) at Island Park. Doug and I took a little escape to Yellowstone National Park one of our days up there. It’s been quite a few years since either of us have been there, which is a shame considering how close we live.  My parents were nice enough to let us borrow their Mustang to take with us through the park. Worked out nicely because I could get a lot of good shots right from the car without having to stop. We loved being the ones in charge of deciding when, where and for how long we would stop at different sites. Being an adult has some serious perks. It was such a beautiful day; driving through nature, listening to Rocky V and having good conversation.

Off we go
Thanks mom and dad!
Thank you convertible for allowing me this shot while driving
Old Faithful. Faithful as always.
I was impressed
(Entrance to Old Faithful) Be careful, you may get blown up while your sister points and your dad is oblivious.

Just look at this landscape! Amazing
Lovely Bison

And this concludes our Yellowstone loop. Hopefully it inspired some of you locals to make a day trip over there!

Are you kidding me?! Holy cow that is pretty impressive!! How long have you been training to do something like that? And do you do it all in one day or will you camp a night?
